This girl has been one of the very few consistent friends I've had for the past 5 years. No matter what's come between us or changed us, she has always been someone I can go to for a quick bit of comfort or advice. And whenever I get a troubled text from her I feel honored to know I get to provide the same. She's the only friend who I would ever play Wii Dance with/in front of. She's the only friend who has ever texted me at midnight on my birthday to inform me she left a basket of random assorted goods on my front porch. She's the only friend I know who would travel 3 hours to a dive bar in Ft. Worth, TX to see me just because I was somewhere within 200 miles of her. And this year I WILL repay the favor to see her yet again completely awe me with her consistent power, talent, beauty, and grace on stage. @katiebarna1 exudes brilliance both on and off the stage in a way that always leaves me speechless and I love her for being such a dear person and influence in my life for so long.
